The Art of Warfare (TAW) was formed in March of 2001 by members who were playing Delta Force: Land Warrior and they wanted to form something special. From these humble beginnings TAW has grown into a World Class Gaming Community...
TAW is made up of over 1300 gamers from around the world. These gamers have come together with a common vision of Honor, Friendship, Loyalty, and Fair Play.
TAW continues to adapt itself to the ever-changing landscape of gaming; however TAW is steadfast with its Code of Ethics. This is our bedrock in a world of games and clans that come and go.
Why should you join TAW now? Because Nuclear Dawn is a new game, it is being created in TAW's "New Game Division" called Vanguard. Vanguard is a place in TAW where new games are spun-up, teams are built, leadership is found and the bonds of organization are formed. Joining now will let you have an impact on how this new division/game will be shaped as it grows to join the other 25+ games divisions within TAW.

What are the benefits of TAW membership?

2. click the big "JOIN TAW" button on the top right of the page.
3. follow the steps to create a new account.
4. select Nuclear Dawn as the game you want to join.
5. select the region of the world from the battalion drop-down that fits your time schedule the best.
6. answer the questions.
7. after applying verify your email address and wait for your application to be approved.
8. after your application has been approved begin our onboarding process.

When does TAW's Nuclear Dawn team meet?

-European meeting time: Wednesdays & Sundays @ 2100 CET (8pm GMT) (3PM EST)
-Oceanic meeting time: TBA
(if you are not from those regions, you may still join those units as long as you can make those times)

How does membership in TAW work?
When you join TAW, you become a member of a specific game division. However, we all use one teamspeak 3 server as our gathering place and you can always see the other TAW members when they are online. You can always play with other games in TAW.

If you've played other games, chances are you've seen us around. We have played many other games. We fully understand the potential that Nuclear Dawn represents with its possibilities for organized gameplay and the unique RTS commander aspect. We have built a respected and formidable reputation over the last decade. Make the choice to join TAW today. We are waiting for you. Click this button to get started.

My favourite part of TAW is floating in other games.
Just showing up for a match in a game like ET:QW, COD, BF or TF2 and
know that you have a spot in a team is awesome :)

Oh, and one addition to the post.
European meeting time is also at Wednesdays, so the times are:
Wednesdays and Sundays @ 21:00 CET (15:00 EST)

I can't use a mic, but I am interested in joining. I've played with several of your players and found them friendly. I like to work in teams, follow orders, and am friendly. I'm 18 and am active often.

TAW, Delta^2 challenges you to a scrimmage next weekend, Saturday at 5 AM GMT (10 PM MST), on the Metro map, first to three wins. We will let you choose the size of the teams, provided you accept.
Pardon the informality of this challenge, but I don't believe in long speeches.

Hey Lightwolf!

We'll check with the guys but most of our ND-members are on the EU side and 05:00 at a Sunday morning is going to be a tough sell.
We will as around though, it sounds like fun :)

I couldn't add you in steam, so I leave that bit up to you :)

Hey Lightwolf!

I added you in Steam now so we can set something up :)
We should be able to get a few guys together during the holidays I believe.

Any particular maps and team size you would prefer?

Hello, I might be interested in joining TAW. How many oceanic members do you have? I'm from New Zealand and I really do love a good game with my fellow comrades. I have a working microphone and LOVE TEAMWORK, seriously makes ANY game 20% cooler. I am a pretty decent player, usually get a positive K/D and at the top of the scoreboard in points.

I'm looking foward to playing much more ND, especially with some other good players with TS.

The only problem I can see is

Quote

Each TAW member must participate in a minimum of two (2) mandatory events per week lasting at minimum one (1) hour each.

I don't have access to the internet 24/7 due to living in two different houses, one which doesn't have an internet connection.
Will this be acceptable? I can usually be on in the weekends, and if dates are made beforehand I can usually make arrangements to be there on time or at least say that I cannot make it.

Hi, I am very interesting in joining TAW. I do have a question though. Do you ever bend the age restrictions? I am 14 and enjoy teamplay especially in games such as Nuclear Dawn where it is really a key part of gameplay and playing in an organized team makes it a much better experience. I have a mic and I can make both of the NA times.

My Steam ID is Nogoman if you would like to dicuss further and in private.

Hi guys.

The age restriction is rather inflexible, I'm afraid.
But don't worry, we have been here for more then ten years and I'm sure we will be here when you turn 15.

The same thing goes with the attendance. We have set platoons that slug it out against each other in our internal tournament,
so it's important to show up or planing strategies don't work.

That's too bad. Hopefully ND isn't dead soon, or I just simply forget in 6 months.

Anyway, thanks for your help.
