I will have to double check the time I set the awards. I know I did it both ways, and did encounter the day late awards previously. I had changed it a week or so ago, and it is running correctly now - so most definitely, that is indeed the correct way as you have clarified, my error on the response.

The awards are running at 00:15.

    Thanks Much!

    Think you missed it -

    Stagger their time.

one starts at midnight, the next one up starts or runs at 12:15.

I run my awards at 11:59pm and a restart occurs at 12:15 - for example.

The lock files the cron trying to open multiples and this does appear to be at the linux level.

The PID's are created at time the script is run.

I do see there are some posts about on the internet regarding dreamhost and this very same error.

You would be best to contact them.

What about the times specified for the jobs? Can you provide that as well? Are you running them all at the same specified time? In other words, running all crons at 0 */0 * * * ?

It really should not be a problem, but if you are, try staggering them by 5-10 minutes?

On my system, I run the awards on 22 0 **** daily while the other jobs are run at the top of the hour and then at 5 after.

Is the folder given the correct permissions? Do you have write access to the folder itself, not just the files.

His page is working fine - he is at school and trying to see the steam portions of his hlstats page, which his school has blocked.
