    Well, Rakshu never thinks about unintened side-effects :) I and Mirek couldn't run SGTLS after this update or there were serious troubles (couldn't connect to any server, even after reboot). However, you can use Hammer and map-compile tools from Source Engine 2007, that should work.

    Well, we probably know where the problem with C4 is. When you destroy your C4 by other way than using the detonator (for example grenade, staff blast, shooting etc.), the entity will remove itself but the game thinks that the explosive material is still there. When you try to detonate it, the server/game crashes. How simple to describe :) But it will be harder to fix...

    The best solution would be to catch C4 detonation event and then somehow convince the game to forget about old and lost C4...

    Hello yoghurt,

    ehm... you are trying to run a server :yes And you want to play the game, right? :D
    • Get Wine (or Windows :) ) and install Steam
    • You must have at least one bought game with Source engine (HL2 and eps, Portal, TF2 etc.)
    • you have to download Windows client files of SGTLS


    But even then, it will run much slower in Wine than in native Windows because of a known bug slowing down all Source games except these with Source 2006 engine version.

    It would be quite nice to have C4 finally working without crashes althrough I use it rarely except for self-destruct :D
    But there is one thing where I see the problem: with your fix I cannot select Assault with frag grenade, when I press OK, the window with weapon choice flashes out and then appears again.
